DYSC Jr. Academy Program (Ages 4–6)

The DYSC Jr. Academy is designed to introduce boys and girls ages 4 to 6 to soccer in a structured, fun, and supportive environment. Led by a certified Program Director and supported by committed parent volunteers, the program offers professional coaching tailored to the needs of young players.

Through dynamic sessions, participants develop technical skills, experience teamwork, and build a strong foundation for future competitive soccer opportunities.

Training Schedule

Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, Field #6

Seasons:

  • Fall Season: August 19 – October 9, 2025

  • Spring Season: February (TBA) – April (TBA), 2026
    Program Length: 8 weeks per season

👶 Age Groups

Open to boys and girls ages 4 to 6.
Teams may be split by gender when enrollment allows. Co-ed teams may be formed if needed.

⚽ Training Method: Play–Practice–Play

The program follows the Play–Practice–Play model, endorsed by US Soccer, which promotes learning through game-like experiences:

  • Play: Engage players early and make training fun.

  • Practice: Build technical skills through guided drills.

  • Play: Apply what they've learned in real game scenarios.

Monday: Focus on basic skills and foundational training.
Wednesday: Play–Practice–Play sessions guided by the Head Coach.
